The GLBR has had a very exciting year so far!
This past December we hosted our 3rd Annual Holiday Party at the Frankenmuth Farmers Market, and helped raise over $200 for Emmaus House in Saginaw, a women’s shelter dedicated to helping women and children in transition. As always we played black jack, ate local pizza, and had tons of fun together!
In February we brought in the new year with our Winter Wine Down, hosted at Prost, one of our favorite local wineries.
March marked the month of law days and career days. Members of our region had the opportunity to speak at local high schools and discuss the possibilities for young people to become future lawyers. Additionally, many of our members participated in Law Day and helped local high school student compete in mock trials.
We look forward to a showing of our documentary later in April and our Annual Meeting on May 31, at the Apple Mountain Golf Course in Freeland, all are invited to join us!
