WLAM Foundation Announces 2026 Scholars

Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation Names Recipients of 2026 Outstanding Law Student Scholarships

11 exceptional law students will receive $38,500 in scholarship awards, funded by generous law firm and corporate partners

LANSING, MI – The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s WLAM Foundation Awards for Outstanding Law Students. Besides their impressive academic performance at Michigan law schools, these individuals endeavor to advance women’s roles in essential areas of the law, including STEM, social justice, equality, child advocacy, and domestic violence. 

Since 1997, the WLAM Foundation has awarded nearly $900,000 to more than 320 law students. For 2026, the recipients and sponsors for each of the $3,500 scholarships are:

The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (www.womenlawyers.org) is a statewide organization providing wide-ranging networking and professional development opportunities for women lawyers, including attorneys, judges, and law students. Since its founding in 1983, the primary mission of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation (www.wlamfoundation.org) has been to support the education of women who show leadership in advancing the position of women in society. That mission is realized annually through scholarship awards to outstanding women law students attending Michigan law schools.
