We are thrilled to announce that WLAM Past President, Hon. Lila M. Neuenfelt has recently been selected to be inducted into the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame (MWHOF) in 2021 as a historical honoree!
Judge Neuenfelt served as WLAM President from 1931 to 1933. During her remarkable career she held the titles of “youngest female lawyer in the country”, first female circuit court judge in Michigan, and youngest person in Michigan to be elected justice of the peace.
In joining the MWHOF, Judge Neuenfelt is welcomed into a cohort of more than 330 exceptional Michigan women, and will be celebrated this Fall at the 38th Annual Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
