Those selected as Women in the Law honorees are accomplished, inspiring leaders and mentors who have shown a tremendous commitment to excellence in the practice of law while consistently giving back to their communities. This year’s class was featured in a September 24 special edition issue of Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
A luncheon honoring the candidates will be held on September 20 at the Detroit Marriott Troy. At the luncheon, WLAM President Donna MacKenzie, WLAM member and WLAM 2018 Jean King Award recipient Julie Freshtman, and WLAM member and State Bar of Michigan President Jennifer Grieco will be presenting the awards to these very deserving women.
The “Woman of the Year” award, selected by a class vote, will also be announced at the event.
